Basic Certificate in Early Childhood Development
Who should attend this course?
The Certificates in ECD is for anyone that has the ability to work and relate with children from birth to 9 years old and can include:
•
School leavers wanting to pursue a career in Education.
•
Anyone involved in privately operated or community-operated crèches or nursery schools that provide for children from birth to 5 years.
•
Anyone involved in public or independent pre-primary schools that provide for children from 3 to 5 years of age.
•
Anyone involved in home-base provision for children from birth to 5 years old.
Duration
:
The duration of the certificates depends on the mode of instruction and can be from 17 weeks to 1 year.
What careers can you pursue with this Qualification?
A career in Education.
