What Careers Can You Pursue With This Qualification?
The qualification is ideal for business people in the following fields:

• Personal Assistants / Receptionists.

Duration

The total number of Credits for this Qualification is 133.  This is equivalent to 1330 Notional hours that need to be spent on this Qualification.  This includes contact time, structured learning, workplace learning and self study (1 credit = 10 notional hours). More but not less time can be spent on this Qualification.

Developmental Learning Pathway
This qualification is designed as an entry-level qualification into most further education and training fields, because of the wide application of End User Computing in any environment. It will allow articulation into further qualifications in End User Computing or other IT qualifications, as well as entry into any other Further Education and Training where End User Computing is required. 

National Learner’s Records Database (NLRD)
After achieving the outcomes of this qualification, the learner’s name will be entered into the NLRD so that future employers can verify the achievements of applicants for work.

Registration and Accreditation
UCO is provisionally accredited by Umalusi, Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training.  All unit standard based courses are quality assured by one of the following Seta’s: MICT SETA, ETDP SETA or SERVICES SETA. Unit standard based courses will be followed by a SAQA Aligned Unit Standard ID number.
*Learners must be aware that Universal College also offers a few Provider Programs that are not unit standard aligned. The courses are quality assured by the provider.
